Call for participants for TC in Poland (CLOSED)

IIC is looking for 2 Bulgarian participants to take part in the training course “Give Power and Help – Self Identity in Youth Work and Projects” which will take place in Zakopane, Poland

When: 04.05.2017 – 12.05.2017

Where: Zakopane, Poland

Who can participate: Young people, youth workers, trainers (age: 18-30)

Description of the project:
The project associates 25 youth workers from different countries: Poland, Romania, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Lithuania and Latvia. It will take place in Zakopane, Poland. The aim of the training course is raising youth workers’ awareness concerning realization of various types of initiatives.

By undertaken actions we aim to present the ways of proper project management – beginning with the planning phase, gaining partners and transferring plans into reality. We will also put emphasis on accountancy issues and the process of project results dissemination.

Participation in the training course will enable youth workers to develop their talent and potential. Presentation and acquirement of new methods of work – including taking advantage of individual personality strengths, will allow them to implement good practices in the work with local communities and will make future actions on the international level more efficient.

Due to personal development youth workers will influence positively the attitudes of local youth. Newly gained experience will help them to instill in young people eagerness and motivation to undertake actions. By those means young people will more actively participate in social initiatives.

The fact that the course will be held in international environment will positively influence blurring cultural barriers and minimizing, often negative, stereotypes concerning other nations. It will help in developing the attitudes of tolerance and mutual respect towards other cultures.

Thanks to the fact that the course will be managed by two professionally qualified trainers will serve for the benefit of work, which will additionally raise the quality of transmitted knowledge. Considering long term benefits, implementation of openness and kindness towards other cultures will be transferred to young people cooperating with youth workers, which will result in developing desirable social
attitudes.

Despite raising youth workers’ qualifications and their personal development the following training course is aimed at promoting intercultural dialog. Due to mutual cooperation we hope to establish stable and reliable contact network, which will enable us to promote good relations to only between our nation but which will also serve as an example for other nationalities.

The costs for accommodation and travel (up to 275 Euro defined by Distance Calculator of Erasmus+) are covered 100% by Erasmus+ programme.
