Call for participants for International Summer Camp in Weimar, Germany (CLOSED)

International Initiatives for Cooperation is looking for 6 motivated young people + one group leader from Bulgaria for a International Summer Camp in Weimar, Germany. 

When: 5 – 16 August 2017

Where: Weimar, Germany

Who can participate: young people between 16 – 30 y.o (no age limit for the group leader)

Why:  What are the elements of good life? Personal confidence in the future, equal rights for everybody or living in the region with developed economy? Or maybe it ́s possibility to express yourself in the working field and get social insurances for the end of life? Who has already Good Life from your surrounding and how to build society where each citizen have his own Good Life?

The main part of the project will be the content and practical work of participants and accompanying workshops, language animation, exploring Weimar and the surrounding area, leisure activities and excursions, as well as providing space and space for the reflection of what is experienced and learned. The camp will focus on the following four points:
  • Definition of one’s own needs and the “good life” by the participants of the camp
  • Criticism of an economic model based on economic growth
  • Identifying alternative models for societies
  • Development of own alternative models for societies

All expenses (travel, accommodation, food, materials, etc.) are covered by Erasmus+ programme.

A participation fee is charged for participation in the Camp (only for participants, group leaders are without fee). The amount is paid in cash on the spot (arrival day, registration and check in):
The amount for Bulgarian participants is 35 EUR.
Accommodation: 
The participants will stay in the facilities of the Foundation “European Youth Education and Meeting Centre in Weimar (EJBW)”.
