“Living Anversa: volunteering for all”
Our friends from “The Starry Start of Talents Foundation” are looking for Bulgarian female volunteer for EVS project for a period of seven months from 1 March 2016 to 30 September 2016, in the Municipality of Anversa degli Abruzzi – Regional Reserve and WWF Oasis of Sagittario Gorges – Italy.
Sagittarius the river gorges are a natural gateway to the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. Founded as a WWF oasis with an area of 450 hectares, the area has been protected by the Abruzzo Region, with the establishment of the Regional Nature Reserve Gorges of Sagittarius.
The protected area Regional Reserve and WWF Oasis of the Sagittarius Gole extends from 500 meters above sea level, downstream from the village core of Anversa degli Abruzzi (L’Aquila), along the course of Sagittarius, to the pastures between Pizzo Marcello and outer protection zone of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, at 1,500 meters altitude. Be are the areas where the greatest signs of bear presence were detected Marsicano outside the borders of National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. The striking beauty of the Sagittarius Gole has fascinated travelers of the nineteenth century and there are many testimonies of ancient scholars who remained particularly astonished by the marvelous landscapes.
