We are starting with the first event within the project “JustEU&Me”.
Our partner from European Movement International (EMI), Belgium will organising the first, transnational, online European Workshop for Youth named “The EU and Pillar of Social Rights” on Friday, 3 February 2023.
If you are keen to:
-Improve your knowledge about the European Union, its principles, bodies and institutions, and decision-making process;
-Learn more about the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR) principles, especially its principles: Education, training and long life, Gender equality and Equal opportunities, by engaging with the leading civil society organisation in the respective fields;
-Engage in discussion with EU decision-makers, civil society organisations and experts and your peers from across the European Union

9:00 – 10:30 EU decision–making process
Improving youth and citizen’s knowledge about the European Union, its principles, bodies and institutions, decision-making process
10:30 – 10.45 Break
10 :45 – 11 :45 Presentation of the EPSR principles, the Action plan, the targets
11:45 – 12:45 Breakout sessions on selected EPSR principles
Focus on principles 1-2-3, with each time a link with the major CSOs in those fields
The objective is to present and discuss three specific EPSR principles, the main challenges related to each, the work civil society is doing, and the youth activists could be doing at the national and European level.
