15th edition of the literary contest “A Sea of Words”
This year, all the short stories must be related to the thematic “Youths in the forefront for Gender Equality”
Eligible criteria for participation: aged between 18 and 30 years old and nationality and residence from one of the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Are you from one of the Euro-Mediterranean countries?
The authors of the 10 best texts —selected by an international jury— will be invited to Barcelona on November 24th, 2022, in the framework of the Mediterranean Day, to participate for three days in the awards ceremony, creative workshops and cultural exchanges to create common spaces of encounter.
Deadline for submission of original works in any of the official languages of the Euro-Mediterranean countries is on 10 July 2022.
Maximum length: 2500 words
Language: any of the official languages of the 43 EuroMed countries but our recommendation is to write your story on English.
