Structured Democratic Dialogue Process (SDDP) workshop was an in-situ event within Just EU and Me project. The workshop was held for the period of two full days 14 and 15 October 2023, in Tyniec Abbey, Poland.
What is Structured Democratic Dialogue Process (SDDP)?
It is an effective group decision-making methodology for managing complex problems with the participation of different stakeholders.
During the workshop participants from 5 different countries (Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Spain and Poland) discussed their ideas, cluster and vote the most important ones. Then, influences among ideas were analysed to produce an ‘influence tree’ (‘Wall of Obstacles,’ ‘Vision Map’ or ‘Action Map’).
THE AIMS OF THE WORKSHOP WERE:
Experiencing in practice the elements of SDD, learning by doing, in order to:
▪To foster the ability of youth to deal with complex and multifaceted issues.
▪To develop the ability to build a common view from multiple stances.
▪To foster mutual understanding while keeping independent thinking.
Our Bulgarian participants were very excited to meet their peers from different countries and to share opinions, thoughts and dreams for the future!
